Aldwickbury Park Early Birds

Good weather greeted us on Saturday and the course is starting to look better. Fairways are starting to grow back after a week of on and off rain. Greens more receptive and greens a little slower. New bunkers are looking great, excellent work by the Neary's and by the greenkeeping staff. Filled in bunkers are much better than the grassed depressions we have been accustomed to in the past. I (Paul) especially like the changes to the 14th, also the 3rd is looking great. 17th has a lot of work going on around the green with large areas of G.U.R.  Well done to Paul for his win today he sunk some good putts. The editor has been on holiday with little idea what actually happened. Well done to Steve B for his win and Jason for his second. Low Stableford scores today, why was that weather was good?
